Autism awareness is largely focused on prevalence rates and the challenges and characteristics associated with ASD, which are often framed in a negative light. What we typically don't hear about is the person behind the diagnosis and the stigmas they face. We developed a PSA designed to depict autism in a new way. Featured in the video are individuals on the autism spectrum who speak out and illustrate that they too are sentient human beings who deserve respect and the opportunity to thrive.

Finding Mike is a KEYE TV Austin news feature about a boy with autism who has limited verbal communication (can only request NEEDS verbally) but has learned to communicate all his thoughts. Only a year previously he had been sorting silverware at school in Louisianna, but thanks to his school in Texas, he has been included in academics and won 4th prize at the State of Texas Science Fair for his project regarding Solutes and the Boiling Point of Water.
